Not a government website. We explain official forms and link to the agency that issues them. Always free, no account.

About PlainForms

PlainForms explains official paperwork in plain English. Each guide covers one task, such as transferring a car title after a private sale, and tells you which form to use, what goes where, whether you need a notary, what it costs and where to send it.

We are not a government agency and we are not a law firm. We don't sell forms or filing services. Every guide links to the free, official form and to the agency pages we checked, with the date we last checked them. Rules and fees change, so confirm the details with the agency before you file. If something is complex, such as a large estate or a disputed inheritance, talk to the agency or a lawyer.

The site is paid for by ads. You will never be asked for a card, an account or a trial to read a guide or reach a form.
