How to cancel PDF Guru and ask for a refund

Checked against official sources on October 24, 2026.

PDF Guru’s published subscription terms say a free or paid trial converts automatically into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends, and the subscription then renews every period until you cancel. To stop it, cancel and get it in writing, then ask support for a refund.

How the trial works (from PDF Guru’s terms)

If you’re reading this the day you signed up, cancel now. You can usually keep using the trial until it ends.

Cancel

  1. Look for a cancel or subscription option in your PDF Guru account.
  2. If you can’t find one, or aren’t sure it worked, email support@pdfguru.com (or call +1 866-716-6045, listed on their terms page) and ask them to cancel and confirm in writing.
  3. Keep the confirmation.

Ask for a refund

Email support@pdfguru.com with:

In the EU?

PDF Guru’s terms note that EU users have 14 days to withdraw from a contract without giving a reason, by email. A refund is then due within 14 days, to the original payment method. The terms add an exception: if you agreed to start the service immediately and acknowledged losing the withdrawal right, you may only get a proportional refund for the service part, unless the service was defective.
